Bridian Goes to The Fair.

The Hawai'i state fair was on for about a month, and the last weekend it was here we decided to go down and check it out! Mary and I got to ride in the back of a truck the whole hour's drive down there. It was fun on the way, but not so much on the way back when it started raining. The fair itself was alright. I had fun because of the people I was with, but I don't really like fairs. They sort of creep me out, to be honest. But we watched a cool show where people did back flips from one horse's back to another, played some games, won some stuffed animals, and went on rides that gave us headaches. I'd have to say my favorite part was the pig races. It was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen, but the hosts were entertaining!

We have a tradition at work-- if it's your birthday or your last day, you get a bucket of water thrown on you. Well...yesterday some really clever guy decided to tell everyone that it was my birthday. And you know how it goes; the more you deny it being your birthday, the more people are convinced it is, in fact, your birthday. The night ended with me getting soaked with three buckets of water and a hose, and all the while insisting that it is STILL not my birthday.

My family came to visit about a month ago, and the only time I took pictures was when we went to Wiamea Beach, which is one of the prettiest beaches around!
